RSS is a defined standard with the specific purpose of delivering updates to web-based content. Using this standard, webmasters provide headlines and fresh content in a succinct manner. Meanwhile, consumers use RSS readers and news aggregators to collect and monitor their favorite feeds in one centralized program or location.
The content of an RSS feed can be viewed in a web-based aggregator, a third-party webpage, or a desktop/software aggregator, a custom application downloaded to your PC. There are hundreds of examples of both types, without offering any endorsement or recommendation two popular ones are NewsGator and AmphetaDesk.
The Los Arqueros Community Forum feed can be found here. Alternatively, right-click on the RSS icon and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" to copy the location (URL) of the service. And that's it! You now have live updates from the Los Arqueros Community Forum to your desktop!!!!
